Man slain in Kensington shooting

A 43-year-old man was shot and killed in Kensington on Friday night.

Officers found the victim inside a home along the 3000 block of Boudinot Street shortly before 10:30 p.m., police said. He had been shot in his torso and leg and was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he died about 20 minutes later.

Police didn't release the man's identity on Saturday because his family members hadn't yet been notified. There wasn't word on a motive, and no arrest was reported.
