Nurse charged with making secret videos of naked patients in Bucks County

James Close of Abington was originally charged earlier this month with recording the naked teen at Penn Medicine Dermatology in Lower Makefield. An investigation of Close's iPhone showed surreptitious videos of seven women patients and a total of three videos of the teen made on different visits, according to the police affidavit of probable cause.

Close, a licensed practical nurse, was assigned as a technician handling the girl's radiation treatment.

All the videos discovered on Close's phone date from Jan. 18 until his arrest Feb. 13, police said.

Close, who was being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $100,000 bails, is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning for a preliminary arraignment.
