Parveen: Temps could hit 70 this weekend

We'll see fog overnight and for the early morning Thursday. Temperatures won't be as cold in the morning either, around the mid 40s for Philadelphia and in the low 40s north and west.

Thursday will be partly cloudy with highs in the low 60s. Friday should be warmer with a southwest wind and mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will get into the mid 60s.

Saturday and Sunday we could hit record highs through part of the area as this unseasonably warm pattern continues with dry conditions.

The forecasted high for Philadelphia is 68 degrees Saturday and 70 degrees Sunday. The record high is 65 degrees for both days. This will be 20-plus degrees above normal for this time of the year. The normal high is 47.

A chance of rain returns Monday with highs around 67 degrees. We finally cool down Tuesday to the mid 50s, but that's still quite a bit above normal. And the high will be back to around 60 by Wednesday.
