Parveen: Windy and cold, then a warm-up

It will really feel like the holiday season Saturday. Temps will start in the 30s, but it'll feel like it's in the 20s with gusty winds

Winds are increasing through the area as temperatures drop, and this will be the case through Sunday with gusts as high as 35 mph. Actual morning lows will be around 30 degrees but feeling close to 20 with the wind.

Through Saturday afternoon, it'll be windy and partly cloudy, highs around 40 degrees but feeling like 30 with the wind. Some snow showers could blow into the Poconos and possibly Lehigh Valley with the strong NW wind bringing lake effect snow closer.

Sunday won't be as windy, highs around 45 degrees and sunny. Temperatures will be around 40 by kickoff time for the Eagles.

Our next warm-up starts Monday as the cold air retreats back to the North. Temperatures will warm to near 60 Monday, then 61 Tuesday, 66 Wednesday, and possibly 70 on Christmas Eve, which would be a record high. This warm-up will also come with rain showers starting Tuesday – Thursday.

Christmas Day looks mostly sunny and cooler. Highs around 55 degrees.
