A Conshohocken police officer was shot in the leg at the Plymouth Township Police department headquarters earlier this afternoon, police said.

A Conshohocken police officer was shot in the leg at the Plymouth Township Police department headquarters earlier this afternoon, police said.

Two Conshohocken officers were processing a prisoner at the Plymouth station at 700 Belvoir Road when the officer discharged his weapon into his leg, according to Plymouth Township Police Chief Joseph Lawrence.

The wound is not life-threatening, police said.
