Point Breeze shooting leaves teen in serious condition
A shooting in the Point Breeze section of South Philadelphia left a teen in serious condition Thursday night.
A shooting in the Point Breeze section of South Philadelphia left a teen in serious condition Thursday night.
Police said gunfire broke out shortly before 8:45 p.m. on the 1200 block of South 19th Street, near Federal Street.
The victim, an 18-year-old male, was shot once in the right side of the back and taken by private vehicle to Methodist Hospital. The driver of the car that transported him remained at the hospital Thursday night, police said.
A motive for the crime was not immediately disclosed, and no arrests were made.
