Police investigating suspicious death of woman in Port Richmond

Philadelphia police on Friday were investigating the suspicious death of a 57-year-old woman in the city's Port Richmond section.

Shortly after 4 p.m., a relative found the woman unresponsive with head injuries inside the living room of a residence in the 3200 block of Mercer Street, police said.

Medics pronounced her dead at the scene at 4:20 p.m.
