I-95 reopens after serious crash in Northeast Philly

A section of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia has reopened after a serious crash.

All southbound lanes near exit 30 for Cottman Avenue were closed for more than hour Friday morning after the multi-vehicle accident. There were also northbound lane restrictions as emergency crews respond to the scene.

All lanes in both directions had reopened by about 9:30 a.m., but major delays in the area were continuing.

Details about the accident weren't immediately available, but medics were called to the crash site for several reported injuries.
