Teacher charged in sex with student, 13

A Delaware middle school teacher surrendered to police today for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old student, police said.

Stephanie Seabury, 22, is an English teacher at Fred Fifer III Middle School in Camden. According to police, Seabury picked up the boy after school on "numerous occasions" and drove him to her apartment in Dover where they had sex. Police learned of the inappropriate relationship on March 12.

Surveillance video allegedly captured footage of Seabury and the boy leaving the school together on a day in February when they allegedly had intercourse. Investigators also found several explicit phone messages and photos taken during the period of their assignations, police said.

Seabury was charged with a felony count of sexual abuse and was being held on $40,000 bail.
