Bank displays works by young West Chester artists

Visitors to the First National Bank of Chester County will see the works of some of the best young artists that West Chester has to offer.

The bank is displaying 33 pieces of art, including water colors, pottery, pastels, and tin relief in the Children's Art Exhibit, sponsored by the bank and by Art Goes to School, a volunteer organization that supplies art appreciation classes to West Chester schools.

The art was supplied by third through fifth-grade students from the West Chester Area School District and from Sts. Simon and Jude School.

The exhibit was kicked off with a reception and awards ceremony on April 12, and the student art has graced the lobby of the bank since then. The exhibit runs through May 11. First National Bank of Chester County is located at 1371 Boot Road, West Chester.
