Police are questioning three males in the slaying of a teenager who was shot for his dirt bike in Tacony Creek Park on Saturday.
The break in the case came this afternoon after police recovered the green-and-white Kawasaki motorcycle, investigators said.
The three were taken into custody in a house on the 800 block of Marcella Street in the Summerdale section, about a mile northeast of the park, officials said.
Detectives took them to police headquarters for questioning, and it was not clear last evening whether they would be charged in the slaying of Luis Navarro Jr., 16.
Navarro, who lived in the Juniata Park section, was one of six people slain in Philadelphia over the weekend. He was shot in the back Saturday by someone who fled with his new, $3,000 dirt bike.
