No ticket had all the numbers drawn last night, so Saturday's Powerball jackpot will be worth $161 million.
No ticket had all the numbers drawn last night, so Saturday's Powerball jackpot will be worth $161 million.
That's the total if taken in yearly installment. The lump-sum payout is $74.7 million.
These are the biggest jackpots since since March, when an Oregon ticket hit for $88,067,283.39 in cash.
All these figures are before Uncle Sam's cut, of course.
The numbers drawn last night were 9, 16, 21, 30 and 52, with a Powerball of 9.
One Pennsylvania ticket did win $200,000, however, by matching the first five numbers, but not the Powerball.
Six tickets in other states also snagged that prize.
One Louisiana ticket won $400,000 for also having the Power Play multiplier option of 2.
Powerball is played in Pennsylvania, Delaware and 27 other states.
Tomorrow's Mega Millions jackpot in New Jersey and 11 other states is worth $105 million.
