Man shot to death in Pottstown

A man was fatally shot in the head in Pottstown on Monday night in what authorities believe was a drug-related shooting, said Risa Vetri Ferman, Montgomery County first assistant distant attorney.

Police continue to look for the gunman.

The unidentified man, who police say was about 19 years old, was shot at the corner of King and York Streets just after 11 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made.

The cause of the shooting is under investigation by the Pottstown Police Department and the Montgomery County District's Attorneys Office, Ferman said.
