More than 60 schools in the region will open late, according to NBC10.com. The handful of closings are mostly for preschools and private schools in Atlantic County or Delaware.

Most roads are mostly clear, although the bridges into the city have posted reduced speeds. Reports on KYW radio (1060 AM) have mentioned spinout accidents, but a check of incidents at traffic.com shows the problems are isolated.

During some past storms, traffic.com's incidents map have been riddled with its triangular alerts.

Driving conditions should improve into the afternoon, as sun and temperatures rising into the mid-30s warm non-shaded roads.
