STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Two Penn State football players face refiled felony aggravated assault charges in an Oct. 7 fight at the university's student union.

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Two Penn State football players face refiled felony aggravated assault charges in an Oct. 7 fight at the university's student union.

A judge previously ordered defensive tackle Chris Baker and backup linebacker Navorro Bowman to stand trial on misdemeanor charges in the beating that took place during a fraternity party.

District Judge Carmine Prestia dismissed a count of felony aggravated assault against each defendant last week. But the Centre County District Attorney's office argues that the judge made legal errors. District Attorney Michael Madeira ordered the felony charges refiled Wednesday.

Baker and Bowman are scheduled for arraignment before District Judge Carmine Prestia today on the refiled charges.
