A pair of weak storms over the Northeast will get together to bring a mix of rain and snow to the region today, according to AccuWeather.com.

The East Coast storm that brought rain to the Interstate 95 corridor yesterday will move into Canada today. By tonight, a second storm moving out of the Midwest will tap into some of the energy from the coastal system.

A wintry mix will spread across much of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and southern New York state before the storm makes a quick exit.

Over the next several days, much of the Northeast will have above-normal temperatures for the end of the December.
