Is Jessica Simpson Romo’s Yoko?
Will a Cabo tryst with a pop-star temptress ruin the Cowboys' season?

Will a Cabo tryst with a pop-star temptress ruin the Cowboys' season?
Joe Namath once proved that a man can be both a playboy and a playmaker, but Dallas fans are quaking in their boots that Jessica Simpson could be their passing-dude's Delilah.
Or, as some wags have dubbed her, the Yoko Romo.
Just watch, analysts opine. If quarterback Tony Romo flubs up Sunday afternoon in a playoff matchup with the New York Giants - as he did a year ago against Seattle - she'll be blamed.
Indeed, wide-mouthed wideout Terrell Owens took potshots at her last month after the Eagles upset the Cowboys, 10-6.
"Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite – in this locker room or in Texas Stadium," he said.
His message to her: Stay away.
And this from a guy who once filmed a Monday Night Football intro with sultry Nicolette Sheridan, who dropped her towel to entice him off the field.
Ironically, Owens played for the Birds back then, and that night helped beat the Cowboys, 49-21.
Of course, Simpson didn't stay away. The Dallas-born songstress even showed up with sister Ashlee for Romo's day-after-Christmas radio show. There followed another lousy game, a 27-6 loss to Washington.
Then the couple jetted off to Mexico to enjoy the bye week.
(Funny, Cabo San Lucas is the same place she went in 2006 with her hairdresser, right after ex Nick Lachey went with his new lady love, according to jaunted.com.)
The media weren't invited - except to have a field day.
"Apparently, there's no R&R in NFL," a Washington Post headline reads.
The latest buzz is about what a gap-toothed Giant said yesterday after practice. "You guys love to say, 'Oh, he is coming off the beach and he is dating Jessica Simpson' ... please!" said Michael Strahan, recently divorced defensive end. "Heck, if Jessica Simpson wanted to date me, I may give her a shot."
Normally, such turmoil in Lone Star land would delight Philadelphia Eagles fans - or at least lift some of the what-a-rotten-season postseason despair.
But who wants to revel in a victory by another reviled rival, the Giants?
Makes for a tough choice for Eagles fans.
Unfortunately, guys, forget about the consolation of at least getting to ogle Simpson in some superbox.
Looks as if she's taking T.O.'s advice.
She won't be there.
"She is not attending," her spokeswoman Cindy Berger told the New York Post. "She is working on a new album. She will be watching from home and cheering him on."
Aw, shucks, as Daisy Duke might say.
