A masked man wearing an FBI jacket robbed a Cherry Hill bank last night and then calmly walked away, police said.
The man strode up to the drive-up window of Commerce Bank on Grove Street at 6:50, said he had a gun, and demanded $1,000. The teller, who was behind a pane of bullet-proof glass, complied. After receiving a bag of money, the man walked off in the direction of the Park Place Condominiums, police said.
The robber was described as white, in his mid-40s, about 5-foot-10 and with graying brown hair. He was wearing a black ski mask, a khaki-colored hat, blue jeans and work boots. He wore a blue windbreaker with "FBI" in large yellow letters emblazoned on the back, police said.
