Honeywell International Inc. announced today that its Pottsville facility would increase production of moisture-barrier Aclar packing film by 23 percent by the end of the year.
Honeywell International Inc. announced today that its Pottsville facility would increase production of moisture-barrier Aclar packing film by 23 percent by the end of the year.
The company said in a release that a combination of upgraded production capability and overall productivity improvements would allow its specialty films segment to increase production of the film, which is used in pharmaceutical packaging.
Honeywell Specialty Materials, based in Morristown, N.J., is a $4.9 billion producer of specialty materials and chemicals and advanced fibers.
In late-morning trading on the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Honeywell International were trading at $55.81, down 18 cents from yesterday's close.
