A South Jersey mother of adult twins, charged with acting as the lookout while her sons staged rooftop burglaries in Philadelphia, was released from police custody yesterday after posting $7,500 bail, authorities said.

Towana Goffney, 42, allegedly stood watch as her sons broke into a beauty shop and an eatery near South Philadelphia's Italian Market.

Goffney, of Swedesboro, was charged Thursday with burglary, criminal conspiracy, criminal mischief and other offenses, police said.

Keyontili Goffney, 25, of Pennsauken and twin brother Taleon Goffney were arrested Feb. 19 and accused of using an ax to break the roofs of several businesses to steal merchandise. The twins are also suspected in 45 other rooftop burglaries throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, investigators said.

Police also believe they may have had a role in stealing thousands of dollars from ATM bank machines.

The twins attracted national attention after bloggers identified them as Keyon and Teyon, the gay stars of several Internet hardcore porn films.

They have been charged with multiple counts of burglary, theft, conspiracy and related offenses.

After his arrest, Keyontyli told a detective that his mother followed them to the South Philadelphia burglary scene in a Toyota SUV and watched for patrolling officers, police said.
