A busload of Rutgers' officials will stop in Camden today as the university begins its annual tour of the state.
A busload of Rutgers' officials will stop in Camden today as the university begins its annual tour of the state.
The Rutgers Faculty Traveling Seminar 2008 will be visiting Cooper University Hospital to learn about health care challenges in South Jersey.
Rutgers President Richard L. McCormick will be joined by 32 faculty members on the fifth-annual, five-day trip around the state, according to a university news release.
Traveling nearly 500 miles by bus – as far south as Millville in Cumberland County and as far north as Vernon in Sussex County – tour participants will learn firsthand about local issues.
Cooper University Hospital participants will include: John P. Sheridan Jr., president and chief executive officer; Dr. Michael Chansky, chief of the department of emergency medicine; Dr. Anthony Mazzarelli, emergency department physician; and Dr. Rick Hong, medical director of the Southern New Jersey Medical Coordination Center.
