Comcast has selected four high school seniors from Chester County as leaders and achievers, and each will receive a $1,000 college scholarship for their accomplishments.

Comcast's Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program picked 1,965 high school seniors from across the country this year to award for their leadership skills and community service, in addition to academic qualifications. Nominated by their principals in the winter, the scholarship recipients were announced early May.

The winners from Chester County are Megan Cope, of Malvern, a senior at Archbishop Carroll; Michelle Hanrahan, from Downingtown East; Leslie Rosario, from Downingtown West; and Jackilyn Lewis from Kennett High School.
