Suspect in violent robbery at Drexel is sought

Authorities have issued a warrant for a 42-year-old North Philadelphia man in connection with a violent robbery inside a Drexel University building last week, police said today.

Authorities have issued a warrant for a 42-year-old North Philadelphia man in connection with a violent robbery inside a Drexel University building last week, police said today.

Police said Marvin Sutter, of the 300 block of East Erie Avenue, is the man seen in a surveillance video casing the university's Stratton Building at 3201 Chestnut St. before being confronted by a female 57-year-old science instructor about 6:15 p.m.

Sutter, police said, fled after the victim started to scream, leaving with her cell phone.
