About 80 Delaware County residents will take the oath of citizenship today.

The naturalization ceremony will be held at the Delaware County Courthouse at 7:30 p.m. Judge Mary Alice Brennan will officiate and Register of Wills Hugh A. Donaghue will be the guest speaker.

The new citizens hail from a number of countries including Sierra Leone, India, Liberia, Cambodia, Turkey, China, Haiti, Taiwan, Vietnam, South Africa Ghana, Egypt, Ukraine, Ecuador, Italy, South Korea, Eritrea, the Philippines, Albania, and Pakistan.

The courthouse is at 201 W. Front St. in Media. The ceremony is held every three months.
