The Philadelphia Medical Examiner's Office today ruled that the deaths of two women – both of whom suffered cardiovascular disease – were heat related.

Jeff Moran, a spokesman for the office, said Deborah Wright Jean-Louis, 65, was found dead early today in a home on the 5800 block of Malvern Street in Overbrook where there was no air conditioning and the windows were closed.

The other victim, Genvieve Chmielewski, 82, was found yesterday afternoon in a home lacking air conditioning on the 3000 block of Gaul Street in Port Richmond. It was not immediately known if any windows were open in the house.
