Arrest made in Ridley murder

The Delaware County District Attorney today announced an arrest in the October murder of a Ridley Township woman.

Jermaine D. Burgess, the man accused in the Upper Darby home-invasion murder of Hoa Pham, 60, a former lieutenant in the South Vietnamese Army, was charged with the murder of 81-year-old Marie Ott.

Burgess, 37, allegedly told police of his involvement in the Ott murder when he was questioned in the murder of Pham. He was arrested Friday night and charged with Pham's murder. Pham was killed Nov. 10.

Burgess is being held without bail in Delaware County prison.
