TRENTON - Economic issues could delay construction on a proposed hospital project near Camden.
Marlton-based Virtua Health is touting its newest facility as a "state-of-the-art, digital" facility, including flat-screen entertainment screens for patients and a "serene atmosphere" to enhance healing.
Virtua has been paying for the project with cash reserves, but needs to sell bonds to fully finance it. But with bond markets sluggish, company officials say they won't sell them until conditions improve.
They'll meet Thursday with the state's Health Care Facilities Financing Authority to discuss the project. -AP
