It's a snow day today in the federal corruption trial of former State Sen. Vincent J. Fumo.

The marathon trial will resume tomorrow morning with the closing argument of Fumo's lead defense attorney, Dennis J. Cogan.

Jury deliberations are expected to finally get underway this week - probably Wednesday.

After Cogan's summation, Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert A. Zauzmer will deliver his rebuttal argument and then U.S. District Judge Ronald L. Buckwalter will give his final instructions to the jury. At that point, the jurors will start to deliberate.
