Temple prof named dean of U of Md. law school

BALTIMORE - Phoebe A. Haddon, a member of the Temple University law faculty has been named dean of the University of Maryland School of Law.
Haddon, an expert in tort and constitutional law, will fill the spot vacated by Karen Rothenberg, who is stepping down to return to the faculty after a decade as dean.
Haddon received a bachelor's degree from Smith College, where she serves as vice-chair of the Board of Trustees, a masters of law from Yale Law School and a Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law.
She practiced at Wilmer Cutler & Pickering in Washington D.C. before joining the faculty at Temple.
