Man wanted in Lawnside killing captured in North Carolina

A Williamstown man suspected of fatally shooting an 18-year-old man at a party in Lawnside last month was arrested this morning in North Carolina, authorities said.

Sames Darren Sampson, 21, s charged with murder for allegedly shooting Sergio Rivera, of Camden, outside the Wayne Bryant Community Center.

Both men were at a party being held there to celebrate someone's release from incarceration, authorities said. It is believed that Sampson was one of a group of men who got into a fight with Rivera.
