The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reopened King of Prussia Road in Radnor Township this afternoon following major structural repairs to the 74-year-old bridge that spans a tiny Radnor Township creek near the intersection of Gulph Creek Road.
King of Prussia Road was closed to traffic on April 20, creating a major traffic headache for more than 20,000 motorists.
PennDot crews worked six days a week since the closure to remove and replace both stone wing walls on the north side of Gulph Creek, and to rebuild the roadway approach to the bridge.
