A Bellmawr man was sentenced to eight years in prison today for possessing more than $12,000 in property belonging to former Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jon Runyan.

Fabrizio Matrascia was convicted last month of three counts of receiving stolen property. Matrascia represented himself during the three-week trial in Superior Court in Camden.

Runyan's belongings - a trailer filled with a generator, a power washer, a snow blower, and an all-terrain vehicle - were reported stolen July 26, 2005.

Police recovered them after executing a search warrant in April 2007 at Matrascia's property and the home of friend. Investigators said Matrascia had taken steps to disguise Runyan's property.
