Springsteen adds 2 more Giants Stadium shows

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Fans of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band have two more chances to see them on home turf.

They announced today they'll add two more shows at Giants Stadium to the Sept. 30, Oct. 2 and Oct. 3 dates that sold out yesterday.

Ticketmaster says seats for the Oct. 8 and Oct. 9 concerts will go on sale at noon EDT Monday, June 8.

The concerts have been billed as a farewell series before Giants Stadium is demolished after the 2009 NFL season, according to the Bergen Record.

Springsteen holds the record as the number one selling artist at the Meadowlands, having sold out 56 concerts with the E Street Band before the most recent ticket sales. -AP
