2 gunned down in Oxford Circle last night

Two men were slain by gunfire in separate shootings in Oxford Circle last night, according to police.

One victim was found shot in the head in the rear driveway at his home in the 1100 block of Passmore Street shortly after 10: p.m.

Hasan McKinney, 29, was was pronounced dead at the scene.

No name was available this morning in the other fatal shooting, which was reported at 11:19 p.m. in the 1400 block of Fanshawe Street.

The 36-year-old victim was taken to Frankford Torresdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.

He was shot multiple times in the torso, police said.

Investigators are trying to determine possible motives and suspects in each case, and whether they might be connected.

The locations of the killings are about a half-mile apart.

The two homicides bring 2009's total to 119, down from 135 for last year through June 4.
