Bridge work could snarl traffic to Camden concerts

Motorists heading from Philadelphia to concerts on the Camden Waterfront should consider other routes besides the Ben Franklin Bridge because of on-going construction on the span this summer, the Delaware River Port Authority says.

Motorists heading from Philadelphia to concerts on the Camden Waterfront should consider other routes besides the Ben Franklin Bridge because of on-going construction on the span this summer, the Delaware River Port Authority says.

Alernates include the Walt Whitman Bridge or the Riverlink Ferry, which offers express service to and the Susquehanna Bank Center before and after concerts there.

The DRPA says the work on the bridge will require lane closures, including on weekends, and warns traffic also will be affected by roadway projects underway in Camden.
