Toll lane reduction set for Ben Franklin Bridge

Construction work will keep at least one lane for cash tolls closed around the clock on Benjamin Franklin Bridge starting Thursday.

E-ZPass will continue to have six lanes.

The Delaware River Port Authority says the reduction of operating manual collection lanes from seven to six could cause delays, particularly during the morning rush hour.

The project should be finished by the end of August, the agency says.
