Two young men apparently shot each other in the neck during an altercation in South Philadelphia tonight, police said.

Two young men apparently shot each other in the neck during an altercation in South Philadelphia tonight, police said.

The shoot-out occurred around 8:20 p.m. in the 2600 block of Wolf Street, police said. A 20-year-old man was was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and listed in critical condition.

A 19-year-old was shot once in the back of the neck and also was transported to HUP, where he was reported in stable condition, police said.

One firearm was recovered at the scene.
