Philadelphia Police today announced they had made arrests in three unrelated slayings, including the alleged killer of Peter Lyde Jr., step-grandson of boxing legend Joe Frazier.

Lyde, 25, of Old York Road in North Philadelphia, was killed May 31 in the crossfire of a shootout at a bar where he had just begun moonlighting as a bouncer.

Two patrons at the Pleasures on the Ridge bar on the 2000 block of Ridge Avenue got into a fight and fired shots at each other. Lyde, the stepson of Municipal Court Judge Jacquelyn Frazier-Lyde, was struck once in the chest. Yesterday, one of the suspected gunmen, Rodney Evans, 32, surrendered himself to detectives at Police Headquarters. Evans, of West Philadelphia, was charged with murder and related offenses, police said.

Authorities arrested two other men yesterday.

William Worrell, 19, of Kensington, was captured by homicide detectives and an FBI Task Force yesterday about 4 p.m. on the 2600 block of Sartain Street. Worrell was wanted for murder in the Sept. 16, 2008, shooting death of Shareef Brown, 24, of the 600 block of E. Willard Street.

U.S. Marshals and city homicide detectives arrested Diomar Quiones, 20, about 10:45 p.m. yesterday. Quiones, of Kensington, had been wanted in the June 15 shooting death of Roger Rosario, 21, on the 100 block of E. Willard Street. Quiones, captured on the 3500 block of East Ella Street, was charged with murder and related offenses.
