The state's Human Relations Commission ordered the Raya and Haig Salon to pay $119,361 in back pay and $78,400 in interest to Aida Armani, of Norristown, who filed the complaint after she was fired by the salon in 1997.
The salon was owned at the time by Raya Yuchimon and Haig Khararjian, state records show. Armani alleged that the salon's business manager physically and verbally harassed her, according to records.
