Baby boy hospitalized with ‘suspicious’ injuries

The Special Victims Unit is investigating the case of a 5-week-old Tacony boy who suffered severe and "suspicious" injuries, police said today.

Medics were called to a home in the 6300 block of Ditman Street about 11:30 a.m. and found the boy, police said.

He had a broken right femur and cracked ribs, and bruises to his face. He was listed in critical condition at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. No other information was available.
