"I would bet the farm that every school is pouncing on FSU right now," said Jamie Newberg, a Rivals.com national recruiting analyst. "Certainly that's not fair, but in reality that's how this game is played."
To review, Bowden is 79, and the head of the board of trustees recently said it was time for him to go. Bowden has a contract through 2010 and is adamant about fulfilling the deal.
The uncertainty about who will coach down the road, plus Bowden's age, works heavily against the Seminoles.
