Republicans wooing former Eagle Jon Runyan in NJ

Burlington County Republicans are wooing former Eagle offensive tackle Jon Runyan to take out U.S. Rep. John Adler, the first Democrat in memory to win the congressional district that cuts through the South Jersey Republican heartlands of Burlington and Ocean counties, sources confirmed yesterday.

Runyan apparently is taking their suggestion seriously. He used Burlington County's favorite political consultant, Chris Russell, today to issue a statement announcing that he was considering a run.
