A Delaware County woman was arrested for allegedly bilking her employer out of more than $100,000 in profits from the sale of salt, the district attorney's office announced today.

Michelle A. Cubler, 43, of Eddystone, has been charged with theft, forgery, tampering with records, and related crimes.

According to the district attorney's office, Cubler, a sales representative for Chemical Equipment Labs in Marcus Hook, had been selling the industrial grade salt at extremely low prices. She then instructed at least two landscaping companies to send checks, made out to her, to her home address.

No charges were filed against the companies involved.

At her arraignment today, Cubler was given $100,000 unsecured bail and released.
