A man was fatally stabbed in the chest early this morning in the city's Kensington section, according to police.

The victim, in his 30s, was found with multiple chest wounds shortly before 3 a.m. near the intersection of Frankford Avenue and East Orleans Street.

He was pronounced dead at 3:22 a.m. at Temple University Hospital.

Police were withholding his name pending notification of kin.
