Man, 28, slain in airport hotel parking lot

Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in the parking lot of an airport hotel early today.

Authorities say gunfire erupted about 1 a.m. in the lot at the Marriott Residence Inn at 4630 Island Ave. near Philadelphia International Airport.

Police say the 28-year-old victim was found near a car with an open trunk. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:25 a.m.
