1 killed, 2 hurt in S.W. Phila. car crash
A violent car crash in Southwest Philadelphia early this morning killed a 21-year-old man and injured two other people, police said.

A violent car crash in Southwest Philadelphia early this morning killed a 21-year-old man and injured two other people, police said.
A 1999 Chevrolet Lumina was headed southbound on the Cobbs Creek Parkway shortly after 3 a.m. when its driver lost control near Woodland Avenue. The vehicle jumped a curb, crashed into a tree and flipped onto its roof, police said.
Joseph Moore, of Darby, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene at 3:30 a.m. The driver, a 19-year-old man, and a female passenger, also 19, were taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where they were reported to be in stable condition.
