More Chesco meth lab arrests

Police announced two more arrests todaystemming from the August raid of a suspected Chester County methamphetamine lab.

The charges stem from a search warrant executed by West Whiteland Police and the state police Clandestine Laboratory Response Team at a home in the 500 block of East Swedesford Road in Exton, West Whiteland police said in a news release. Materials were found consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamines, a volatile, chemical process that sometimes generate explosions - as well as a second lab in a field near the residence, the release said.

Alan Higgins, 28, of West Chester, and Bradley Fisher, 30, of Malvern, face charges related to the alleged production of the drug as well as its distribution in the community, the release said. Higgins and Fisher were remanded to Chester County Prison after failing to post $100,000 cash bail, the release said. Allen Jay Sutherland, 39, of Logansport, Ind., was arrested in August.    - Kathleen Brady Shea
