Threat at airport delays flight

A flight bound for North Carolina from Philadelphia International Airport was delayed for more than an hour today after a threat was phoned in to the airline. Passengers had already boarded Southwest Flight 466 which had been scheduled to depart at 3:50 p.m. for Raleigh-Durham. TSA officials called the aircraft back to the gate at Terminal D and the crew and passengers deplaned, said Southwest spokeswoman Ashley Rogers. The aircraft was towed to a remote area where Philadelphia police and bomb-sniffing dogs swept the aircraft and TSA agents examined checked luggage, said Ann Davis, a TSA spokeswoman. "Thankfully, it turned out to be nothing," Davis said.
