The makers of the film Law Abiding Citizen are donating $15,000 to the Philadelphia Police Foundation to mark the movie's release on DVD and Blu-ray.
The makers of the film Law Abiding Citizen are donating $15,000 to the Philadelphia Police Foundation to mark the movie's release on DVD and Blu-ray.
The film, starring Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler, was shot in and around Philadelphia.
The foundation plans to use the money to buy LCD panels for all Police Districts.
A check presentation ceremony is set for 2 p.m. at Police Headquarters.
The nonprofit foundation raises money to fund projects or buy items that are not covered by the Police Department's budget.
