Itching for more debates, Democratic U.S. Senate candidate and Rep. Joe Sestak has arranged to tangle with Republican Senate candidate Pat Toomey on April 11 at La Salle University.

Sen. Arlen Specter has declined to debate Sestak more than once before their May 18 Democratic primary; they are scheduled to have a televised debate May 1.

But Toomey, a former congressman from the Allentown area, was more than willing to discuss economic policy on the same stage as Sestak. The event will be held in the evening in La Salle's Union ballroom, Sestak's campaign said, with further details to be worked out.

In September, Toomey and Sestak held a town-hall style debate on health care in Allentown.
